Many of the components we manufacture at Kilner & Hutchinson aren't always seen by too many sets of eyes once they've been installed.
But for anything a little more visible, or needing a protective coat, we provide a painting service that can provide your desired finish.
We finish many of our castings in a red oxide paint that protects them from the elements – but we also provide other finishes on request if you have a certain type of paint that you would like us to use.
The perfect cast iron finish
Component manufactured at our West Yorkshire foundry can be finished in a wide range of colours, whether it’s for visibility, organisation, aesthetic or branding reasons. Just get in touch with our team if you have any requirements.
Smooth finish cast iron
It’s not just the painting that contributes to the perfect finish – with every element of the cast iron manufacturing process carried out in house, components manufactured at our West Yorkshire foundry go through surface grinding to ensure a smooth finish, as well as heat treatment and shot blasting to make sure the finished product meets your exact specifications.
