Certification

Analysis and certification is a key part of ensuring that everything we produce at Kilner & Hutchinson meets the highest possible standards of quality.

This is something that is absolutely essential to us, and why we have become a trusted name in the iron foundry industry

On-site chemical analysis

We carry out spectrochemical analysis on site. Optical emission spectroscopy allows us to analyse our castings with incredibly high precision, measuring the levels of carbon and other chemicals in iron. This allows a high level of quality control at every stage.

Material certificate of analysis

If required, we can provide our customers with a certificate of analysis for their records – please feel free to contact us to discuss any certification or compliance requirements you may have.

Mechanical certification

Although we aim to carry out as much of the casting and testing process as possible in house, we are currently unable to carry out mechanical certification on site.

At present, mechanical certification is conducted by an independent laboratory. We have built strong links with our trusted testing partners to ensure our high standards of quality are maintained.
