Kilner and Hutchinson was approached by architectural metalwork company Topp and Co. They commissioned us to cast a small train and carriages from Cast Iron. The train, Located in Northallerton, was to commemorate Faye Stevenson who unfortunately passed away from cancer recently. The train sits atop a wall near the local Tesco store where Faye worked.
The name, Stevenson’s Rocket, was given to the train as a nod to Faye’s love of trains, referencing the famous steam engine, Stephenson’s Rocket.
